Suddenly Gone Without A Word

Yea I know it does seemed like I've been a distance away. And I will continue to be away from blog for quite some time due to really busy times trying to complete assignments and work too. Hence, there might not be any updates for the time being. Sorry for the current lack of humor post or anything. Will try to update from time to time with current or past events (actually there's quite a number, but I haven't gotten the time to write much due to the fact that my creativity and endurance to all dedicated to the matters mentioned earlier). With the little time I have left for the assignments, I still hope that I'd be able to do a good job for it, wish me luck ya!

A Day Out With Bunch of Awesome Mates...

Earlier today I went out with several mates for a movie trip - to watch "Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief" and "Wolfman". It was splendid, I haven't been to the cinema in a while now, and the last trip there wasn't a pleasant one because it was too rush (It was a screening, but we all had to leave right after the movie, because the complex was closing already)

Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief - The movie was rather interesting but somewhat became very predictable (I could tell what's the next scene minutes before it) and there weren't enough effects as I thought it would have.

Wolfman - The typical lycanthrophy show in which the story sequence had not change much from what I recall of watching a werewolf-related movie. Gets bitten, turns into a werewolf, kills others, and get killed in the end. Pretty draggy movie too.

However the company was good, along with
AlexGoh, JacquelynHo, JackieLoi & Girlfriend,
AaronHo, JeremyChoy
movie became fun to watch =)

In between the two movies, we had lunch at Jack's Place, where the rest had their meals (however I skipped mine, 'cause it was a lil overpriced for me). I don't know how good the meals were, but I had some of the fried rice (thanks to Jacq) and I think it's alright.

After movies, we all parted - Jackie and Girlfriend continued their movie marathon, Alex, Jacq and Aaron went home due to their own plans. Jeremy and I? *grins* We headed to Subang's Asia Cafe to grab dinner before meeting up with another bunch! Wanna guess what's up next? (Hint: It's not a movie we're going to, but I could relate it with Zombieland Movie *winks*)

Exactly! The evening's plan was to have ourselves a friendly match of Left 4 Dead 2: Survivors Vs The Infected! Tell you, I couldn't remember when was the last time I had this much time at a cyber cafe with a bunch of which I only knew half of them. Met new people, and surprisingly they were quite cooperative! Our team won 3 rounds in the row! *grins* And I believe we were the loudest amongst the lot there *shy* Nevertheless we had utmost fun in ages!

Definitely looking forward to our next gaming session! =D

Wootza! This year around is the 3-in-1 combo celebration with my family! =D Yes, the 14th of February not only stands for Valentine's Day but also the 1st Day of Chinese New Year as well as my mum's birthday! So here goes, a birthday post for mum! *hugs and kisses cheeks*

Happy Chinese New Year! - Reunion Dinner

Chinese New Year (CNY) is what most Chinese are always looking for. It's the new year, and also marks a new hope, a new beginning, a new chapter, a new adventure and so on... The day before would be the Eve of CNY which is also refers to a reunion get together before the new year arrives. Yesterday I had the traditional "reunion" dinner, not entirely with my family, but with my family and neighbors. Awesome right? It was the same as last year too, but this time around we had our dinner at Restoran Overseas nearby my house, a very classy place. It's my first time there! Without further delay, let my pictures tell the rest of the story!

And guess what our private room number was?

We only had 2 hours since our dinner reservation was at 6pm
but there's another reservation to go at 8pm.
As you can see, there's quite a number of us, so
we had two tables for ourselves =D


My neighbors (bottom folks) and their relatives...

It's in Chinese, but I think I roughly know what's on the menu...
It's kinda the same every year, doesn't run off much:
Fish, Pork (a must!), prawns/chicken, shark fin soup, cold dessert



Of course most importantly for us, was the
Lou Yu Sang (traditional Chinese dish for CNY)
which gives a meaning to prosperity and togetherness


Everyone would help to prepare it...




Then everyone digs in!
Mix it all up and then eat it =D
Everyone enjoys this!


Next is the roasted suckling pig
(See I told ya about the pig...)




The reason why I'm comfortably taking the pictures,
is cause my neighbors are doing the same too =P




The rest are seated and start feasting on the pig

while waiting for the other dishes...

Alright, enough of fooling around...
The other dishes then suddenly arrive kinda fast,
then we had to eat fast (before 8pm that is)

We had fun eating, sharing and chit chatting too!


Not to forget there's some beer and red wine,
provided along with the dinner =D
