Day #1

Didn't know how to respond to her text, he went into thinking mode and not long after that, he fell asleep (good job bro, *pats back with shame*). While figuring out what to reply her, he was thinking how to cheer her up. He felt somehow that she might still be a little unhappy, and he came up with a brilliant plan! To make her it day!

And when she replied.. that was it! Text after text, they both communicated easily! He figured that she was feeling much much better after some uncalled for lame jokes. They started chatting about what they do to how they were doing at office.

Without realizing it was close to after office hours. Time passes by quickly. Even with loads of work, it didn't feel as hectic as it usually did. They were still chatting.

It felt like minutes, but in fact it was hours...
To ensure she'll keep laughing, or at least smiling, he makes silly jokes and even brought back out a long forgotten habit of making silly rhymes (boy is he surprised that he's still that lame.. but knowing that she'll smile and even laugh, lame is cool.. lame is worth it)

Are you cool enough be lame?

An idea spark! He knew of an event that will loosen her up. What she needs isn't any conventional invitation. And so, he invites her to a.. dance (*plays smooth operator~*). She shyly agrees and he secretly says YES!

Will you go on a ... dance, with me?
smooth operator~~ smooth operator~~

Later that night, he decided to give her a call. But little did he know that it became an almost 2 hour chat! Best 2-hours call he'd ever had! Throughout the call, he was practically laughing more than her. Hoping that his laughter can cheer her up. He knows he was in high spirits, so he had to control a little as he didn't want to freak her out. He finds it very fun talking with her, but he had to end the call 'cause she has to get her beauty rest. Reluctantly he ends the call that night and hopes that she would have herself a great night sleep. Secretly wishes it might just be what she needs in days.

That sparked the birth of the Project 365, which purely aims to make sure she stays happy all the time at least for the next 364 days to go.

The Story

This is the story of He and She and how they met (or to be more precise, how he met her).
Disclaimer: The visuals used here is not owned or labelled by the author. They are used to provide the audience a form of visual representation of what the author is trying to illustrate.

It was new year's eve, and after work He was all pumped up to go for the party at his friend's place!

Some party! but it wasn't like this at all..
It sure felt like that!

It was more like this.. minus the sword fights and the construction workers..
oh wait! or maybe there were there?!
I don't know; was too busy busting myself drinks after drinks.

(Ok back to the story! Focus Jeffro, focus)

Well, he didn't go alone, he brought a friend. But they had to make several pit stops to shop for the pot luck items - namely fruits & snacks, and not to forget the ice packs. So they went for about an hour or more before finally arriving at the party.

(eh can fast forward ar? bugger no interest in listening to filler-like scenes can?!)

At the party, as he was helping to prepare the fruits and some snacks, She walked in. The host of the party introduced her to everyone.

Tadah~~!!
OH YEAH!
Yea right! You wish la!

It was more of this. Just hey my name is .. and her name is ...
No more no less...

(=.=" what a let down! So what happened next?!)

It's no magical night for anyone, but eventually he got out of the kitchen and start blending in with the crowd. Then, he joined her at the table. He wanted to start a conversation, but he paused. He had forgotten her name (or to be precise, he didn't pay attention earlier). So, quickly he just jumped into the conversation without addressing her name. And they chat a little. But he still didn't get her name.

(what a wuzz! u mean the whole night just like that?)

Nearing midnight, everyone gathered to raise their drinks together. He learns that she wasn't happy and didn't have much appetite. So he had to think of something to get her mind of her troubles. They had a drinking game called the King's cup. He knew she wouldn't drink, but he still wanted her to have and loosen up. So, he played hero and said "You play. I drink."

Cards around the cup.. but we used a Hoegarden cup!
Beat that bro!

Depending on what card you get, the punishment differs..
*evil laughs*
I love the Bitch card =P

Then slowly people cheers and drank

And finally everyone drinks!

(Ok I'm getting drunk seeing those pictures! What Next?!)

Well, Cinderella had to go home! He has taken a couple of "punches" from the game, and he's feeling a little high. Nevertheless, he wanted to send her off. With some few others, he walked her to her car and see her off. Guess what? HE STILL DOESN'T KNOW HER NAME! Felt disappointed, he walked back with the others. On the way back, he heard someone mentioning her name. *light bulb* Though only 1 syllable, but that's good enough!

Everyone was dancing around!
Well not everyone, but a few of us.. No thanks to the punishment..
Following day, he woke up freshens up and wondered if she was alright. He remembered others were exchanging numbers and contacts with her, but he stood there like a noob doing nothing. "Man what a loser" he thought to himself. As he changes his outfit to head out for the next event, a brilliant thought came to mind! He texted his buddy to get her number, so that he can directly ask if she was alright. Genius, no? Not really; Slowpoke, yes *nods shamely* Well, he had gotten the number alright, and immediately texted her.

So he wait.. and wait.. and wait.. no reply. "Dang! Wrong number is it?!" Despite that, he continued on with the event.

(Oitz! Is that all?!)

Nearing the end of the day, his phone buzzed and he sees a message. It's from her!

Yes! Nuff' said.

That's the start of the story.

Project 365!

Ahhh first post of the new year~! Well no, I guess I wouldn't be looking back to 2012 to share all that has happened and what I'm looking forward to. If you're curious enough, let's grab a drink or a bite together, and I'll story you in! I prefer telling you in person instead =P

So what's this Project 365? It's like so-yesterday... Yes and No =) This isn't the snap a picture each P365; this is the "snapshot" of a story of a guy who met a girl during a new year's eve party and how it goes on everyday. It's gonna be based on a true story. Well sorta, can't promise you it'll be entirely true 'cause I have the tendency of exaggerating the scenarios *laughs*

Disclaimer: No names will be mentioned to protect the identity and ensure the safety of the people involved. Context may sound lame, gross, eeky but that's just too bad, 'cause I'm writing it anyhow~ =P

Have You Decided What Needs to Be Done?

This morning I stumbled upon an anonymous brilliant quote (after much searching found out who wrote it), which made me think quite a fair bit on my personal stuffs as well as office work. I believe that everyone has a decision to make at any given moment, and that many (including myself) have hesitated a while (some even longer) to decide on some things - it could be something as simple as "Should I take shower this morning?" (and yes, I did shower this morning, thank you. Smell me if you don't believe! *laughs*) to something as difficult as "Which road should I take to office today?" (it used to be my usual morning question, pathetic I know). I'm just pulling your leg, but the real tough question is yet to come - "Am I going to do what it takes to [fill in the blanks]?"

Apparently, I find that question to be left unanswered most of the time. I'm taking a daring guess that 90% of the world's population are caught up in this cycle of LifeQuestionGiven-Ignore-LifeQuestionGiven-Ignore. I made a number of pretty big decisions over the years (and even recently) - Some tough ones, some simple ones; and they have changed my life for the better (that much I know). I was once told by a wise person that "There are no bad or good decisions - every decision we make will lead us forward. But the question is do you want to move forward with hopes, or with regrets?" I find that pretty powerful, don't you?

Recently, I've been reminded by some friends that "Action speaks louder than words", and the action in the context simply refers to decision with commitment. Not just deciding (making a statement of choice) on a matter but also put in commitment (put in effort & work it out). If I want to see the results for any matter at all, that's all I have to do. They told me that "Anything's possible, if you know what you want, willing to work it out, and believe in yourself; Don't give up, don't let anybody steal your dreams, constantly remember what you want, and don't forget that"

I don't know about you, but don't 'cha love the support and encouragement shown there? I know I do! <3

Anyhoo, here is the quote which came about earlier this morning:

It doesn't matter what you are thinking or what fear u have, if you juz do it! Action is the only thing that matters. I can see at the end of my life, im not going to look back & say "Gosh, I wish I had taken more action" - Diana Von Welanetz Wentworth

Safely Back?

I'm not sure if I'm really "back" for good, but am making efforts to stay. Too many reasons which kept me away from blog itself, but it's far too long to be away that I just had to come back I guess. Or at least drop by to say hello =)

How are things on my end? 2 words - Awesomely Busy! It's been some months since I actually upload a post. To be honest, I don't know why my other posts just didn't got my finger to click the upload button.

So why awesomely busy? New Job, new priorities and new dreams! Changed profession (yes, again~) and it's much convenient now. Met and got connected with some amazing people, which gave me a lot of ideas of what I should be focusing on. Thanks to bigger and better perspective from meeting leaders in the past few months, it led me to believe in wilder dreams =) Just came back from my first ever trip to India with some friends, and boy was it an amazing experience! The saying of "it's not where you go, it's who you're with where ever you are that matters" is 150% true! I had a lot of fun and learned a lot from the more senior and mature friends.

Whether or not, I'll be back for long, I guess there's no safe way to determine that. All I can say, is that I'll do my best =) Wanna make sure the next update splendid!
