Gigapixel

Not a new technology whatsoever, but what it is about a digital image that contains more than a billion pixels (1 thousand Mega pixels). I found a site that is very much dealing with gigapixel photograhy, which is Gigapixel Photography Inc.

Seriously, it's something so awesome, I don't think there's a word to describe it. Take a look for yourself on what they have to show in their gallery:
